Singing and music class for babies o – 18 months and one parent/carer
Time: Saturday morning from 9am-9.50am, 6-8 participants,
In this class we learn nursery songs and rhymes arranged in thematic sequences. Babies experience a steady beat in actions such as bouncing, rocking, swaying and walking; songs and games also raise babies’ body awareness through elements such as touching, tickling and finger plays. Singing is supplemented by action games in compliance with current safety measures.
Singing and music class for toddlers aged 18 – 36 months and one parent/carer
Time: Saturday morning from 10am-10.50am, 6-8 participants,
In this class children are invited to directly participate in processes of supported learning, thereby strengthening their sense of orientation and ownership. Together with their parents/carer children they perceive and realise musical concepts such as lower and higher, quieter and louder and faster and slower. Children also experience musical structure through repeats and variation and are introduced to a variety of music pieces and musical picture books. Strict Covid-19 safety restrictions will be in place.
Singing and music class for children aged 3 – 4
Time: Saturday morning from 11am-11.50am, 6-8 participants,
In this class children act independently from their parents and carers. They are introduced to songs within their own tone range and experience the performance of a steady beat and basic rhythmical patterns in songs, dances and games. The class also introduces to solmisation and rhythmical notation and incorporates the use of props, basic instruments and materials in line with the current safety measures.
Six weeks courses including Saturday, 11/09; 18/09; 25/09; 02/10; 09/10/ and 16/10
